Privacy Policy

Effective 4 November 2026

This policy covers the IELTS Mock Tests app for iPhone and iPad ("the app"), developed by Ridwanul Haque Fardin. In short: the app does not collect personal data. Everything you create in it stays on your device.

What the app stores

The app needs no account. Your name, target band and exam date (if you enter them), your answers, scores, essays, saved words and Speaking recordings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us or anyone else.

Microphone and speech recognition

The microphone is used only while you record a Speaking answer. Recordings stay on your device. If you ask for a transcript, speech recognition runs on your device; the audio is not uploaded.

Downloads

Listening audio and new mock tests are downloaded over HTTPS from the content server at ieltstestbd.com. Like any web request, the server sees standard connection information such as your IP address so it can deliver the file. The app sends no account, name, device identifier or other personal data with these requests, and they are not used to identify or track you.

Notifications

If you turn on study reminders or new-test alerts, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No push token is created and nothing is sent to a server.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple's StoreKit on your device.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Widgets, Siri and Shortcuts

Widgets show your streak, exam countdown and predicted band from data stored on your device. Siri and Shortcuts actions only open the app.

Children

The app is a study tool suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Use Profile › Reset all progress in the app to delete every attempt, essay and recording, or delete the app to remove all of its data.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs to serve and protect it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
